New MOT rules announced.

Due to the unfolding COVID-19 situation, we’d like to make you aware that cars and motorcycles due their MOT from 30 March 2020 will have their MOT extended by 6 months. This will continue until confirmed otherwise. Please be aware that in the meantime vehicles must be kept in a roadworthy condition, drivers can still be prosecuted if driving unsafe vehicles.

Showroom Closure.

As we monitor the impact of COVID-19, we, like all businesses, must put the health and safety of our staff and customers as our top priority. With this in mind we have taken the tough but necessary decision to temporarily close our showrooms for the foreseeable future as of 18.00 Monday 23 March 2020. This decision has been taken in light of the current government advice and the need for us to reduce our contact with each other to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

If you currently have an order in process with us, our team will already be in touch with you and will update you with the best and safest way to get your vehicle to you.

As we move forward in these difficult times, we want you to be clear that you can still do business with us digitally and over the phone, and you can speak to our teams about delivering your car direct to your home so please do get in touch if you have any questions.

Our service centre will remain open and we have a small team of skilled employees operating within the safe working guidelines. Once we have completed any work already booked in, any new work will be prioritised and we will of course ensure any key workers remain mobile. If your car is already with us, we will complete this work and get in touch with you to organise a suitable and safe collection or delivery of your vehicle.

Our staff have been dedicated and brilliant through these turbulent times, and I also want to take a moment to thank them all for their support and hard work in continuing to offer our customers the best possible service, no matter what the circumstances.

As we enter this next phase we will be keeping you up to date regularly on our websites and Social Media pages including vehicle servicing updates so please stay connected.

We appreciate your continued support for our business during this difficult time and we look forward to welcoming you back to our flagship showroom or service centre in the future.

Accompanied Test Drives.

For the continued wellbeing of colleagues and customers due to COVID-19 Park Lane Group have decided to upgrade their test drive process to self-drive test drives in place of normal accompanied test drives.

You will of course have the opportunity to have a personal introduction to the vehicle from a member of our team whilst maintaining the safe distance principles that we are adhering to. Your test drive slot will be a 30 minute opportunity to experience your choice of new car in one of our demonstrators. All vehicles will be cleaned and sanitised before and after use on key contact areas.

We hope you welcome the improvement to our level of service to support you with choosing your new vehicle.We are extending this opportunity until Tuesday 31 March 2020 and will review again at this time.

BMW i Showroom Closure.

To support our ongoing efforts to minimise the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak,our BMW i showroom will be closed as of Sunday 22 March 2020 until further notice.

For anyone looking to speak to our BMW i team, please head to our BMW showroom and ask at reception for a member of the BMW i team or get in touch with us digitally.

Parts Counter Closure

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, our Parts Counter at both our Service Centres will be closed from Friday 20 March onwards.

We will endeavour to fulfil all orders by post courier.

Cash Payments

We are now no longer accepting cash payments in our showrooms,lifestyle shops, parts and Aftersales departments.

We will accept Credit Card payments over the phone up to £100 only, for payments over £100 we will accept bank transfer or Debit Card.

Please note that we will continue to accept Credit Card payments with chip and pin onsite.

I wanted to share an update with you regarding the current business situation in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

As it stands business is running smoothly and we remain open for business at our showrooms on Park Lane and both our Aftersales facilities in Battersea and Park Royal.

We are following Government guidelines across our business to ensure we adhere to any regulations in place and to maintain safe premises for our staff and customers. At Park Lane we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver excellent service on all occasions, and we are doing all we can to maintain this level of service to our customers.

As the situation develops many of our staff will need to work remotely which may result in a delay to the service we provide. We appreciate your support and understanding that through any decision or outcome,Park Lane is putting the safety of our customers and staff as our top priority during this time. With this in mind please don’t be offended if we don’t shake your hand on arrival or if you see our cleaning teams on site during the day performing extra maintenance, these are just some of the measures we have put in place to ensure our workplace remains a healthy and safe place to be.
