On Wednesday 4 October we hosted our Women in Business evening. We welcomed around 70 women from different industries into the BMW showroom for an evening themed around MPowerment.

We first welcomed guests for networking and to enjoy a cocktail reception courtesy of our sponsor Bloom Gin. We were then introduced to the evening by Chris Learmonth, our Managing Director. Amanda Newport, our Aftersales Director was then invited to the stage to tell the crowd about her career. Amanda spoke of her experiences in the industry, having started at the age of 15 as a technician and now as a manager of over 100 employees.

Our first external speaker was Holly Merriman from Tilney and our second Kate Dale from Sport England and the This Girl Can campaign. In between speeches we unveiled the new BMW M5, with a short presentation by our Genius, James Bashford.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us and if you would like to know more about our events please email
